Managing City-wide community conversations
Applying for homeless services funding from HUD
NYC Dept of Health (DOHMH)
As a project partner/subcontractor to Community Resource Exchange (CRE), The Public Good provided project management services to coordinate the scheduling, planning and communication of over 50 community conversations in public libraries in every borough on behalf of the NYC Department of Health’s Take Care NY initiative. We created web-based tools available to team members to keep each other informed and on track.
Center for Urban Community Services (CUCS)
We managed the preparation of NYC’s annual numeric estimates of homeless and City-wide emergency and transitional beds as required for the City’s application of federal funding from HUD. Oversaw HUD funding application data requirements including count of homeless and system-wide bed and shelter supply.
Implementing NY State’s portal for senior services
NYC Department for the Aging, office of policy & Planning
Researched city-wide long term care services available to NYC’s elderly and developmentally disabled for the first stage of NY State Connects portal implementation.
Ensured data integrity, compliance with state requirements and handoff to new staff.
Drafting solicitations and guidelines for government contracting
NYC DSS - Human resources administration
On behalf of Office of Contracts & Procurement at one of NY City’s largest agencies, we researched and wrote over fifty operation procedures conforming with City and State procurement regulations in order to standardize how staff procure goods and services.
Separately, we provided on-site technical assistance in preparing solicitation and contract registration support on behalf of the DSS-HRA’s program offices.
